FAQs

Do I need to make an appointment?

We love to receive walk-ins and will accommodate you whenever our schedule allows. However, we do recommend that you make an appointment when possible in order to ensure that you are seen when you come in.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

The only thing you will need to bring with you is a valid photo I.D. If you do not have this available, this does not mean we cannot see you. Just provide us with three alternate forms of legal identification (birth certificate, social security card, a bill in your name, a school report card etc.) and we will be happy to serve you.

Can I bring a guest?

You may bring a guest with you for support. However, you will be meeting one-on-one with one of our Client Advocates for the first 45 minutes of an intake appointmentDuring this time, your guests will remain in the waiting area.

If you plan to bring children with you, please also bring another adult (over 14 years of age) who will be able to look after them in the waiting area during your appointment as we do not offer childcare.

What can I expect from my pregnancy intake appointment?

There are three parts to your intake appointment. The first part is a one-on-one session with a Client Advocate who will inform you of your options, as well as the resources available to you through us and through the community. The second portion is a pregnancy test. These are lab-grade urine tests and the results will be available to you immediately. The final part is a medical consultation provided to you by one of our medical professionals. If you have specific questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

How long will my appointment take?

This will depend on the service(s) that we provide to you. We will be able to give you a better idea when you call. However, as a general rule, please allow for a full hour.

What are your service fees?

There is no cost for any of our services. We are not looking to profit from you in any way. Therefore, we will not request you to provide insurance or other billing information.

Will my appointment be kept confidential?

Yes, absolutely. Your privacy is very important to us. Woman to Woman adheres to the terms outlined by HIPAA, a strict confidentiality policy. All of the information that you provide to us is kept completely confidential unless the law requires otherwise.
